Task ManagerIn development
A home for pending tasks and ideas.
A personal backlog for the to-dos and ideas that pile up around everything else. Capture them as they come up, sort out what matters, and keep a running list so nothing gets lost, with personal and work side by side but never mixed up.
An Android app, working and in development. Not released yet.
What it does
Personal and Work
Two tabs across every view, so you see one side of your life at a time. The app remembers which one you were on.
Four ways to look
Day, Week and Month views for what's due, and a Full List of everything, as cards or a table, filtered by status and type.
Tasks with real detail
A title, details written one point per line, an optional due date, and a status and type for each task.
Your own statuses and types
Starts you off with Pending, In Progress and Complete, and Bug, Research, Idea, Feature and Chore. Add, rename or archive your own.
Ticket references
Keep work tickets like JIRA-1234 on a task: several per task, with one marked primary and shown on the list.
Comments with replies
A running thread on every task for progress notes and second thoughts, with replies one level deep.
Phone first, then synced
Everything is saved on your phone first, so screens respond instantly, and then synced to your account.
One account
Sign in with your primelogiclab.io account, using Google or an email address, the same one the site and its other apps use.
Where it's at
Task Manager is built and working on Android, with its server up and running, and it hasn't been released on Google Play yet. Next on the list is a home screen that brings Personal and Work together in one place. It's a one-person app by design: your list is yours, with no sharing.
It's built and run by one person as part of primelogiclab.io, a lab for building real software with intention.
Privacy and your data
No ads, no analytics and no tracking. The app keeps what you put into it, and the privacy policy sets out exactly what that is, who it's shared with and why.
